Fall fishing continues to be good during 4-5 days of stable weather patterns and poor during or shortly after fronts.
Spring Break WeekI had a couple 4 hr guide trips this week. Fishing the spawn for walleyes can be hit or miss. The trip to marion lake was a hit with 5 males in the 18" to 20" range and several that came unbuttoned. The trip to wilson lake was the miss as it was 35 degrees that morning. I had a bad feeling about the day when we got there and my spot I like to fish the spawn was on the bank. The lake is still 10' low.
Was out for couple hours. It was extremely windy we were only boat on lake. I think it was around 35 mph at times. The main reason i went out was to play around with new electronics after spending last month rerigging boat. I did make a couple drifts and had six fish. 5 males and a female with eggs. Water was already 46 degrees
Took Andy and Kent out on a 6 hour guide trip and they had some super nice Kansas walleyes. Great day!! Nice to get a break from the rain and cold temps.
